The Artsmark Award
The Artsmark award is a nationally recognised accreditation awarded by Arts Council England to schools and education settings for their commitment to arts and cultural education. Our recent 'Statement of Commitment' for the Artsmark award has been accepted.
Ilford County High School is delighted to hold the Artsmark Award, the only creative quality standard for schools accredited by Arts Council England. This award recognises our commitment to providing high-quality arts and cultural education for all students.
As an Artsmark school, we:
- Offer a broad and balanced arts curriculum, including music, drama, and visual arts.
- Provide opportunities for students to engage with professional artists and cultural organisations.
- Celebrate creativity through performances, exhibitions, and community projects.
- Support the development of skills that enhance wellbeing, confidence, and academic achievement.
The Artsmark Award highlights our belief that creativity is central to a rich and inspiring education.
