Our teacher training programme offers the very best of school-based training along with online learning through our provider Tes Institute.

NELTA Partner 

NELTA is an Initial Teacher Training provider that thrives on strength through collaboration. It has consistently been rated outstanding since its first inspection, including in March 2024. Our work with school partners such as Ilford County High School plays a central role in raising standards by developing a self-improving and sustainable school-led system. 

As the only SCITT in Redbridge, our partnerships are across Redbridge, Newham, Waltham Forest, Barking and Dagenham, Epping and beyond. Our strategic partners include schools, universities, such as UCL and King’s College London, as well as private sector organisations. We also work alongside other teacher training providers to share expertise and resources to support both our trainees and mentors. Over the last five years, our outcomes include 97% completion rate, 97% employment rate and 100% QTS achievement of trainees who complete the programme.
