ICHS Chronicles

Welcome to the brand-new ICHS newspaper titled ‘The Chronicles’. The Chronicles has been our school newspaper since the very beginning, with Ilford County High School being established in 1901. The Chronicles came quickly after with the earliest edition in our LRC records dating back to 1911. These quarterly newspapers continued up until the end of the 20th century, after which they ended abruptly. This edition marks the beginning of a new era for the newspaper as it is now quite different to what it used to be. A few decades ago, with changing times, it was important to recognise that with this first edition we had nothing to work with or have as a basis for things like design or even information. Everything found within this newspaper, from the layout to the articles themselves is completely original and 100% student-made.
